Wings & Water Package – Bird Watching & River Tubing Expedition

Day 1: Arrive at the Belize International Airport and get picked up for your transfer to San Ignacio.
Depending on your arrival time, you might have some time to relax at your hotel before dinner. This is
approximately a 2 hour ride.

Day 2: Birding Laguna Aguacate is a prime birding location in Belize. The area consists of a mosaic of
habitats including savannah, open farmland, and subtropical forest surrounding the lake. This variety of
environments attracts a wide variety of bird species, making it a birder’s paradise. Approximately 4 hours.

Day 3: Birdwatching in the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve in Belize is an amazing experience
for any bird enthusiast. This beautiful reserve is home to over 500 species of birds, making it one of the
most biodiverse places in Central America.

The Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve is a unique habitat with a mix of pine forests, broadleaf forests,
and riparian areas. This variety of habitats attracts a wide variety of birds, including resident species,
migrants, and near-endemics. Approximately 4 hours.

Day 3-4: River Tubing Expedition– Immerse yourself in paradise at Bullet Tree Falls, a charming village
nestled within Belize’s Cayo District. This jewel boasts not only cascading waterfalls but also exhilarating
river tubing adventures, perfect for creating unforgettable memories.

River tubing offers a refreshing escape on a hot day and a unique perspective of the rainforest. Imagine
gently floating down the Mopan River, surrounded by lush greenery and towering trees. The current
whispers tales of the jungle as you drift past exotic birds, playful monkeys, and prehistoric-looking
